The energy transition is more than technology
If the energy transition is to be a success, apart from innovations it particularly needs people to make these innovations happen. Research projects are studying the factors that facilitate broad participation.

The energy transition means more than just changing and innovative technologies – society is changing too. Experts from a range of disciplines are studying how as many people as possible can become part of and play their part in the energy transition in the context of the Energy Research Programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. In this video, science journalist Eva Mühle from Project Management Jülich explains what the experts are working on. The video also includes comments by members of the public about the energy transition.
